Will Curt Hitch Legs Work With Tuff Tow Fifth Wheel Hitch
Question:
I currently have a tuff tow 20k sliding hitch on rails in my 2005 dodge 2500. Im looking to buy a 2017 or 2018 GMC 3500 with 6 1/2foot bed with factory prep. Would I be able remove the slider and buy Curt legs that adapt to the puck and attach them to the hitch. I see they make an adapter plate that would go from puck to rail system. but my hitch is already close to being to tall and the adapter would raise it over an inch. I have the lowered as much as I can now. thank you

The Curt OEM 5th Wheel Hitch Legs for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16025 will fit in the pucks of a 2017 GMC Sierra, though they are not compatible with a Tuff Tow hitch. The legs are designed to work with head units 16545, # C16515, # C16520, # C16530, and # C16565.
I have added a link to our page with each of the fifth-wheel hitches that are compatible with 6-1/2 foot bed 2017 GMC Sierra 3500's that have the factory rail kit.
