Recommended Adapter For Hauling Honda Generator While Flat Towing A Vehicle

Will a MaxxTow/MT70069 Hitch Extender support a Honda 2000i Genertor on Class A motorhome plus tow a car.

The MaxxTow Hitch Extender with Step - 2" Hitches - 13-1/2" Long - 7" x 14" Platform # MT70069 will support the generator, but will not be able to tow your car. The gross towing weight of this extender is 4,000 lbs which isn't enough for 95% of vehicles.
I recommend using the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter, 4" Drop/Rise # RM-077-4. Then you can use a cargo carrier like the 19x60 Curt Cargo Carrier # C18100 to carry your Honda 2000i generator. This adapter will work well for your application.
I recommend using a hitch lock like # e98880 to secure your investment. This hitch lock can be keyed alike so you can secure the adapter and each accessory within the dual receivers.
