Recommended Front Mount Hitch for 2009 Ford F-150 with OEM Skid Plate

I would like to get a front hitch mount for my 2009 F150 XLT. It has an OEM skid plate that I want to leave intact. Not sure if it gets in the way but what low profile mount would work for this?

There are two available front mount trailer hitches confirmed to fit your 2009 Ford F-150, both of which will install in roughly the same manner and sit in the same location under the vehicle.

I spoke with my contact at Curt regarding the Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C31068 and he stated that this will fit with the OEM skid plate on your truck and you will not need to alter it for proper installation. As long as the skid plate you referenced is from the factory, this hitch will work great on your 2009 Ford F-150 XLT.

The hitch will provide a 2 inch receiver opening and a vertical load limit of 500 pounds. All of the necessary hardware is included. I have attached the installation details for you to check out.
