Will the Goosebox allow 90 degree turn without hitting the side rails of thr truck bed?

The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR and similar Goose Box pin box replacements will not allow you to make 90 degree turn without contact with your truck. Most trailers will be too wide for a 90 degree turn to not make contact with the cab of the truck. The Goosebox is adjustable like other pin boxes to ensure you don't make contact with the side rails of your truck bed when driving under normal 5th wheel or gooseneck conditions just like if you were using a 5th wheel hitch and pin box. There are more adjustments in the gooseneck adapter portion of a Reese Goosebox to ensure proper fit. I've attached a couple of photos to assist. Your 5th wheel trailer will still be able to tow level when adjusted properly. I've attached the instructions for installation to help further.

As with any trailer, I recommend testing the turning restrictions with all parts installed in a open area prior to a road trip so you know what degree you can safely turn without damaging your vehicle or harming others.
