Can the Bulldog Replacement Caster be Used on the Bulldog Powered-Drive Trailer Jack

Question:

Regarding wheel, #BD500245: Can this be attached to #BD500187? The video for the wheel looks like it will attach to a Bulldog hand crank jack which appears to have the same leg. Is there any reason that it wouldnt work on a powered jack? I often need to move my pop up camper so I need the possibility of a wheel. Thanks

Caster wheels actually cut the capacity of jacks by quite a bit since they aren't as sturdy as a foot. That's why you don't see wheels like the part # BD500245 for our powered jacks. This caster wheel has a weight capacity of 1,200 lbs. The Bulldog jack that you referenced, # BD500187, has a lift capacity of 3,500 lbs. Using the caster wheel will lower the jack lift capacity.

If you are looking for a way to move your trailer when not connected to your tow vehicle, then I recommend the Trailer Valet # TVXL2 for if you have a 2 inch ball or part # TVXL25 for if you have a 2-5/16 inch hitch ball.
