You have a couple of different options for the 5th wheel rail kits. For a custom kit designed to work with your vehicle, I recommend the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for Chevy/GMC - Carbide Finish, Item # C16411-204. This kit is confirmed to fit your 2017 Chevy Silverado 3500 with either the 8-foot or the 6-1/2-foot bed. Because this is a custom (rather than universal) kit, it is designed to fit with the existing holes in your vehicle, thus minimizing the amount of drilling necessary. There is minimal drilling required to install the rails in the bed of the truck and no drilling required to install the brackets beneath the truck. This kit will fit any hitch that mounts to above-bed base rails, regardless of brand.
If you don't currently have a 5th-wheel hitch, I recommend the Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, # C16120, which is compatible with the installation kit I mentioned above. It features an interlocking 2-jaw system for 360-degree jaw-to-king-pin contact, a fully articulating torsion head for a quiet ride, and a 1-pin head for easy removal. This hitch as a tow capacity of 16,000 lbs.
Another consideration to keep in mind is the weight of the fifth-wheel trailer you will be pulling. You'll want to make sure your kit is rated for a capacity that meets or exceeds the weight of your trailer. Also note that you are limited by the lowest-rated component of your towing setup, including the tow capacity of your vehicle (it's best to confirm this capacity in your owner's manual). If you need a hitch with a higher weight capacity than the one above, there are a variety of similar options that can handle the weight increase.
I've provided links to two review videos for these products as well as an installation video for a vehicle similar to yours, a 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500.
