Replacing the Hoses That Come With the Derale Direct-Mount Remote Cooler Kit # D20561
Question:
If i damaged my hoses to this unit, can they be replaced with transmission hose by removing the pre installed clamps and using standard worm drive type clamps? I am assuming the other end of the an fittings hose end and the 180 degree elbow are barbed? Is this correct?

Yes, you can certainly replace the hoses to the Derale Direct-Mount Remote Cooler Kit # D20561 with a transmission hose by removing the clamps and using standard worm drive clamps. You can also reuse the fittings on the ends of the hoses as well. I confirmed this with my contact at Derale.
We also have replacement hoses that you can find with parts # D15740, # D15700, and # D15799.
