Brake Controller Wiring Harness is Not Long Enough to Mount P3 on a 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Can I get a custom length wiring harness for the Tekonsha P3 to fit a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500? I purchased the P3 and the appropriate harness but both the harness and the included pigtail are both too short.

It all depends on where you plan on mounting the P3 brake controller # 90195. Is it possible to move it to a location that will work? If not the best solution is to lengthen the vehicle specific harness for the 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 # 3016 using the wires from the included pigtail. Just use the included butt connectors. A custom length is not available so splicing in wires is the only method to make the harness longer.
