I do have a solution for you, however there is not currently a trunk-mounted bike rack available that is confirmed to fit the Sport model of your 2012 Honda Fit. This is because the Sport uses a rear roof line spoiler that prevents the use of a trunk mounted bike rack.

For your vehicle, I recommend going with a hitch-mounted bike rack. If you do not already have a trailer hitch installed, I recommend the Curt Class I Receiver Hitch # C11064. This hitch is custom-designed for your Honda Fit and will install without the need for any drilling. It has a 1-1/4 inch receiver opening and a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds. I have attached an installation video on your 2012 Honda Fit that you can use for reference.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind when searching for bike racks for this trailer hitch. You will first need to make sure that the rack you choose is compatible with Class I trailer hitches. Also note that the most bikes a Class I hitch can support with a bike rack is 2.

I recommend looking at the Curt # C18085. This is a really great wheel mount rack that will transport up to 2 bikes at 45 pounds each. It features support arms and cushioned pads to hold bikes by their wheels.

I have attached a video demonstration on this bike rack along with a link that will take you to our available selection of Class I bike racks for you to look through.
