Recommendation for Hitch Mounted Carrier with Ramp that Can Fold Up for Storage

I recommend looking at the Flint Hill Goods 30x50 Cargo Carrier # FHG77ZR. This carrier includes a built-in 48 inch long ramp for easy loading and unloading. This carrier has the ability to completely pivot up alongside the rear of the vehicle for compact storage. The ramp can also be folded up into the carrier basket. However, you have to have room on your vehicle for it to do so. Because of the rails on the carrier, when the carrier is folded the closest part of the carrier is 4-3/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole.

The Flint Hill Goods # FHG77ZR carrier is made of steel and weighs 80 pounds. It has interior dimensions of 48 inches long, 28 inches wide and 5 inches deep. It has a weight capacity of 500 pounds and is designed for 2-inch trailer hitch receivers.

We have a similar aluminum model # FHG69ZR that has a 60 inch ramp, weighs 77 pounds and does not fold.
