For you to mount the Thule Force XT XXL Cargo Box, # TH6359B, you will need to know your rear hatch clearance and crossbar spread on your Volvo XC90.

Your vehicle will have to have a crossbar spread that must be at least 23-5/8 inches wide and no wider than 37-1/2 inches. To find this measurement measure the from the center of one crossbar to the center on the other.

To find the rear hatch clearance, measure from the center of the front crossbar to the line where the roof and your vehicle's rear hatch meet. If this measurement is at least 54-3/4 inches, then the Thule Force XT XXL will fit. If it turns out that your measurements show that this Thule cargo carrier will not work for you, then let me know the measurements and I will help find a cargo box that will work.

If you do not have a set of crossbars or a roof rack on you Volvo, them if you can relay to me the year of the vehicle I will be happy help find a setoff crossbars or a complete roof rack system to work on your vehicle.
