4-Way to 7-Way Adapter Recommendation for 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

I have a 2012 wrangler unlimited w the tow package. It has a flat four prong plug. I am looking part no. HM42190 7 post plug. The four post plug does not have a plug and play plug. The harness runs up towards the left rear tail light. Is an adapter available for the four post plug so the seven post plug can just plug and play? Thank you I hope I explained that well enough

Since you have a factory 4-way installed on your 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited the easiest way to convert it to a 7-way is the part # 37185 which allows your current 4-way to plug right into the adapter.

If your trailer has brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
