Parts Needed to Install a Rhino-Rack Roof Rack on the Bed Rails of a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

I am wondering if Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System w/ 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars - Track Mount is available with longer tracks and longer crossbars? I see that Rhino-rack manufactures them, I just dont see them offered here. I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 6-1/2 ft bed.

To mount a Rhino-Rack Roof Rack onto the bed rails of your 2016 GMC Sierra 2500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed you will first need the tracks and the quick mounts legs.

For the tracks you will need the Rhino-Rack RT-Style Roof Rack Tracks # RRRTV208 that mount with rivets. If your GMC has a plastic bed liner then you will need to cut around it for installation. If you have the spray-on bed liner then you can simply drill through it.

The correct Quick Mount Legs are part # RRRLT600.

You will need to do a little measuring to determine which Vortex Aero crossbars are the correct fit for your truck bed width. You can either go with the 71 inch option, part # RRVA180S for Silver or part # RRVA180B for Black, or the 79 inch option, part # RRVA200S for Silver and part # RRVA200B for Black.

I spoke to my contact at Rhino-Rack who confirmed this, but also said that since this is a custom installation you will need to make sure that you pay attention to what kind of bed liner you have and make sure that you measure so that you get the correct crossbars for your application.
