What Is The Distance Between The Rear Frame Rails On A 2015 Chevrolet Equinox
Question:
What is the distance between the frame rails on a 15 chevy equinox
asked by: Scott F
Expert Reply:
The distance between the inside edges of the rear frame rails on the 2015 Chevrolet Equinox is approximately 35".
If you are looking for a rear hitch receiver compatible with this vehicle, I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98865 as this hitch has the highest tongue weight (TW) and gross trailer weight (GTW) of any other hitch receivers confirmed as a fit for your vehicle. I have attached an installation video of this hitch on the same year vehicle for you.
For a complete towing package, I recommend using both Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # 56094 for vehicles without the factory tow package or part # C56210 for vehicles with the factory tow package in addition to our Ball Mount Kit for 2" Hitches part # 989900. We also have an installation video for both of these harnesses for you as well.
