Recommended 5th Wheel Rails And Hitch For 2007 Toyota Tundra

Question:

The max pull with our tow pkg is at 10,400 with the pin 1475 each brand of lite fifths are THE ONES we are considering, so will be compatible! We LIKE the ease and weight of the Anderson hitch. Is that a good fit with our 2007 Toyota Tundra truck?

The Andersen Ultimate Connection 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch System with Adapter - 20,000 lbs # AM3200 will work very well for your 2007 Toyota Tundra and a light 5th wheel trailer. The Anderson hitch is just 40 lbs which makes loading and unloading very easy compared to other hitches. It also gives you a 9 inch offset and the ability to easily connect with the coupler adapter that fits all standard size king pins.

For your rails, I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP50084-58 which are a custom fit for your 2007 Toyota Tundra and are compatible with the Andersen Hitch as well as any other industry standard hitches.

You may want to consider adding a 7-way trailer connection to the bed of your truck for easier access using the 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Plug - Toyota - 9' Long # 51-97-412. This will make that connection easy and keep the wiring inside the bed of your truck instead of draped over the tailgate.
