Recommended Brake Controller Plug-In Adapter For 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
I have the controller that was removed from my totaled 04 Grand Cherokee before it went away. There is no model number on it. A sticker says 06 10. Im thinking its not a date because I bought the 04 in 06 and it was already installed. I want to get it installed into the 2014. The body mechanic that removed it cut the wires such that the butt connectors are there, but there is no black connector. Not sure if there was one after installed in the 04 but all the pics I see of the Voyager have a connector. Bob G provided the wiring diagram. Makes sense. When I bought the 14, I was told all GJCs were pre-wired such that it would be plug-and-play. Do I need a connector and how do I get one? Per Tekonshas website I would need their cable connector 3045-P. I do have the bracket. What can you tell me please? Thanks.

You are correct.
If you have a 7-way trailer connector on your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the brake controller adapter you need is part # TK93VR. One end plugs into the back of the controller and the other plugs into the harness on your Jeep.
