Recommended Adapter For 4-Way To 5-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
I have a trailer connector which has a five wire harness but only four ports on the plug What can I use or how can I adapt to this? Thanks!

To convert a 4-way to a 5-way, I recommend the Tow Ready 4 Pole to 5 Pole Trailer Wiring Adapter # 20036. This adapter will give you the 5th wire connection to allow you to add that reverse function or brake function depending on your trailer setup.
