Will Grease Cap RG04-080 Fit with Center Cap # 425EZ
Question:
I believe I need to replace the grease caps on my trailer with 2.44 OD part # RG04-080. I saw the depth of these center caps is 4.25. Is this the depth from the bottom of the cap to the top of the cap or the tabs that hold the removable center cap? The grease caps being replaced, with hub, that are currently on the trailer stand out about 3.60 ish inches from the wheel. My question is, do these center caps work in conjunction with and fit over the grease cap even with the tabs holding the removable center cap? or do these replace the grease cap? Thank you for your help.

Expert Reply:
The center cap part # 425EZ is designed to fit EZ lube spindle grease caps like the part # RG04-080. They have the depth and width to fit over the center cap.
If these were both the correct size for your wheel and hub they would work well together as they have removable center sections.
