Troubleshooting LED Indicator Light Issues on a Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller # 39510
Question:
My Voyager is not activating my brakes on either trailer I own. When i activate the manual slider switch, it goes red on the led then goes dead, only to turn on again a few minutes later. I have used this unit for years and have had occasional problems that have self corrected, but never this problem. Thanks in advance.

It sounds like you are experiencing issues on the ground circuit of your Tekonsha Brake Controller, part # 39510. I would check to make sure that the white wire from the # 39510 is making good contact on the ground circuit. If you find corrosion or the wire not connected properly fix it as you deem necessary.
If everything looks fine on the ground circuit I would next check the condition of the brake output (blue wire) looking for the same loose connections and corrosion.
I attached installation instructions for this product below for you to check out as well as a review video.
