Can a Trailer be Towed from the Back of the Pro Series Q Slot Bike Rack
Question:
Instead of using the second bike rack with 1-1/4inch tongue, is it possible to attach a very small light kayak trailer? Tongue weight is less than 65 lbs.

No, the shank on the Pro Series Q Slot PS63138 was not designed to work with a ball mount so you would not be able to use it to also tow a trailer.
What I recommend to carry bikes and tow a trailer is Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 7,500 lbs Item # D210. You could use the 2inch 2-bike part of the Q Slot and use the ball mount portion to tow the trailer.
Another option is a towing bike rack such as Swagman Original 4 Bike Towing Rack for 2" Trailer Hitches - Tilting Item # S64675. Since the tongue weight of your trailer is so low this is a great option. The rack holds up to 4 bikes and accepts a hitch ball with a 3/4 inch diameter shank such as # C40016 for a 1-7/8 inch or # TR63822 for a 2 inch.
