How Hidden is the Draw-Tite # 24767 on a 2006 Cadillac CTS
Question:
How hidden is this hitch really? My wife wants one that doesnt show on her car unless I have my bike rack on it!!! How about a picture of the rear of a CTS with hitch mounted... I thought of cutting the end off a hitch back under the car and bolting it on when I want to use it! I will not be pulling a trailer just 50 lbs of bikes and a carrier! Thanks for any info.

While this Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 24767, is mostly out of plain site, it is not completely hidden.
If you want to get an idea of what this hitch looks like installed check out the video I attached below. At this time we do not have any pictures of the hitch installed but you can get a pretty good idea by watching the installation video.
I could not safely recommend that you cut off a portion of the hitch and then bolt back in place when you want to use it. Even though you would just be using a bike rack on the hitch it would void the warranty and could potentially cause many problems for the bike rack, your bikes, and other motorists.
