Recommended Hanging 2 Bike Rack to Fit a 2013 Hyundai Genesis

I just had a 1-1-4inch inch hitch installed and trying to figure out what 2 bike hitch will work. Im trying to ask before I buy the wrong one that drags on the ground as someone suggested here

For your 2013 Hyundai Genesis, we carry a few different two bike racks that would work well for you.

The Swagman Titan 2 Bike Carrier, # S63400, that you referenced will work well on your Genesis. The rack can carry 2 bikes with a total weight capacity of 35 pounds per bike. The rack itself is light weighing about 30 lbs.

I also like the Kuat Beta Folding 2 Bike Rack, # B202-114. The Beta has an all aluminum construction that makes is one of the lightest 2 bike racks at 12.6 lbs. This rack has a weight capacity of 80 lbs. This rack will give you some add capacity at almost 4 lbs lighter than the Hollywood Racks bike rack.

If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.

Also, depending on the brand of hitch that you installed on your Hyundai, you may need a stabilization strap. Curt requires the use of a stabilizer strap, like # 18050, on their hitch with non-towing applications. Check your the installation instructions or manual to see if the manufacturer requires the use of a strap.
