Will a Kuat Hitch Rack Work with a HP Velotechnic Street Machine Recumbent which Has Fenders

The HP Velotechnic Street machine is a recumbent with a full size rear wheel and a smaller front wheel fenders and a rear pannier rack. Will the Kuat rack hook attach to other than a wheel?

I did a bit of research on your recumbent bike and found that the manufacturer recommends carrying the bike inside of a vehicle. They go on to say that if you must transport the bike outside the vehicle you can use a roof rack designed for use with the wheels attached or a hitch rack that attaches to the bikes 2 inch diameter frame.

The Kuat Sherpa 2.0, part # SH12B, would fit into the manufacturers recommendations if you could find a point on the frame for the attachment arm and hook to connect to the bike frame. We have not had the opportunity to test the HP Velotechnic Street machine on any of our racks yet so we cannot make a specific recommendation.
