Can Roadmaster Spare Tire Carrier be Used with a High-Low Adapter
Question:
I have a Roadmaster spare tire carrier utilizing the 2 inch receiver hitch on the rear of my class A. I have a Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain tow bar inserted into the receiver opening of the spare tire carrier. I wish to tow my Jeep wrangler however once connected I find the angle of the towbar exceeding the recommended level safe range of 3 inches up or down. Is it safe to add a 2 inch hitch receiver to the spare tire carrier and then the tow bar stinger into the hitch. This would bring me into the safe range.

Roadmaster recommends against using their Spare Tire Carrier # RM-195225 with a high-low adapter.
For another solution you may be able to use a high-low adapter for the tow bar and carry the spare tire carrier on the back of the vehicle being flat towed.
If you'd like, let me know the year, make, and model of the toad and I'll make a recommendation for you.
