What is the Correct Wiring Harness for a 2004 Ford F-150 With 4-Flat?
Question:
I have a 2004 F-150 Lariat Super Crew non-flare side that has a flat 4 way trailer connector, is this C55242 the right one I need to convert to a 7 prong trailer housing. Thx

I have the connector you'll need, but the Curt T-Connector # C55242 will not work with your 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat. Instead, you need the Tow Package Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118247, which is a confirmed fit for 2004 F-150's with a factory 4-flat. You will also want to use a mounting bracket such as # PK12711U with the harness.
I have added a link to a video of this harness being installed on a 2004 F-150 for you to take a look at.
