Parts Needed to Add 7-Way and High Capacity Trailer Hitch to 2003 Ford E-350
Question:
Hello, I have a 04 ford e350 super duty with the 6.0 diesel engine. It is setup with 4pin trailer wiring and I would like to add a 7 pin with a brake controller. Is there a kit that comes with all needed components? I do have the plug in under the dash by the kick panel. But nothing but the 4pin in the back. Also what class 5 hitch receiver would you recommend? My trailer gtwr is 14,000 lbs and my gvwr is 9500 lbs. Thanks,

If your trailer does not have brakes all you would need is the part # 37185 as an adapter to convert the 4-way to a 7-way.
If you do have trailer brakes you would need the # ETBC7 instead of the # 37185 and a brake controller. This kit comes with everything needed to wire up the 7-way and install a brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
The highest capacity hitch we offer for your vehicle is the Draw Tite part # 41945 which is a confirmed fit and has a 10k capacity.
