We can most certainly help you to replace your axle and hubs on your 2,000 lbs trailer.

If you are wanting to go with a standard axle you will need to pick one out that is the same length as the one you have now and that has the same hub-face-to-hub-face (A) and spring-center-to-spring-center (B) measurements of your current axle. I have attached a picture that demonstrates how to find these measurements. You will also need to pick if you need idler hubs or if they need the brake flange on them.

For example; the Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Idler Hubs # 20545I-EZ-72-15 is 72 inches long and is rated for 2,000 lbs. it has an (A) measurement of 72 inches and a (B) measurement of 58 inches. It comes with idler hubs that have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern and can accommodate 13 - 15 inch wheels.

Another great option which takes a lot of the measuring and figuring out of a new axle is to go with one of our Timbren Axle-Less systems. These are much easier to install and help to provide ground clearance as well. The Timbren System # A20RS545 is rated for 2,000 lbs and comes with hubs that have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern.

I have attached a link to our selection of axles for a 2,000 lbs trailer that you can search through for the correct replacement if neither of these options have the correct dimensions.

If have attached some review videos of both products that you can use as a reference.
