How Do CIPA Towing Mirrors CM11000-2 Install on a 1994 Ford F-250

Question:

Hi, It looks like these towing mirrors will fit my 1994 Ford F-250 pickup. I have the factory mirrors exactly as pictured in the specification. I want to know if the mirror faces are flat or convex. Also, the linked install PDF shows a hook that attaches the extension mirror to the factory mirror. This looks like it would work on a GM product, but not a Ford. How does this look/work on my truck? Thanks!

The CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side Item # CM11000-2 uses flat glass for both of the mirrors are listed as a fit from CIPA. I checked with CIPA and they do show the same mirror style (chrome breakaway, 2-point mount) that you have in their fit information as well. It looks like you would have to have the hook attached to the factory mirror (inside edge). There aren't any pictures of this set installed.
