Bar Spacing of Thule Aeroblade Traverse Roof Rack on 2017 Hyundai Elantra
Question:
Hello, I am wondering about shortening spacing between bars to fit our cargo carrier. I have a 2017 Hyundai Elantra. Total setup was installed at dealership on purchase of car and we didnt receive any info. Thanks

Aftermarket roof racks like the excellent Thule systems need to install on a vehicle with a specific bar spacing. All Thule AeroBlade racks for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra are shown on the linked page; there are several variations, the Edge and Podium systems, which both use the Aero bars like # TH711200. The bar spacing for all Aero racks needs to be 30-1/2-inches from bar center to bar center.
If you can confirm which type of AeroBlade rack you have and which Elantra you have (2-door coupe, 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback) I can check with Thule on the correct bar spread.
