Expert Reply:
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 12060, includes a ball mount, pin and clip.
If you need wiring and your 2008 Ford Escape came with a factory tow package, you will need Tow Package Wiring Harness, part # 118251. If your Escape did not come with a tow package, you will need T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118551.
To complete your towing setup, you may be interested in the following items:

I have linked instructions for the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # 12060, and a video installation of another Curt hitch on a 2010 Ford Escape that you may find as a good reference. I have also linked an FAQ Article on tips when installing a trailer hitch.
