Do you know if the universal rail kit that comes with the curt c16116 hitch and rail kit need any additional spacers or brackets to fit a 2011 toyota tundra double cab. The reese universal kit requires extra parts.

According to the Installation instructions (linked for reference) for the Curt E5 Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch with Rails and Universal Installation Kit, # C16116, for Toyota Tundra applications Spacer Kit, part # C16302, is required. You will need to stack one 3/16 inch and one 5/16 inch thick slotted spacer to avoid crushing the truck bed. Any of the installation kits, custom or universal, for your truck will include or require additional parts for the best fit.
