How to Know if your Trailer is Compatible with Over Under Kit # K71-385-00

Question:

I ordered an over under kit to flip my axles on my trailer and I got 3inch . Wanted to know if you knew if my trailer had 3inch axles .

We don't have the ability to look that info up, but if you go out and measure the axle you'd know. Or if you happen to know that your axles are between 5,200 and 7,000 lb in capacity and are made by the Lippert or Dexter it's going to be a 3 inch axle.

The more common size is the 2-3/8 inch kit part # K71-384-00 which is for 3,500 lb axles. 3,500 lb axles are by far the most popular size.
