In order to install the Pop & Lock Custom Tailgate Lock part # PAL8600 on your 2017 Honda Ridgeline, you will need to find the red and yellow wires located underneath the driver's side kick panel. Once found, you will need to use the wire splice connectors found in the kit and attach the green wire on the tailgate lock to the red wire on the vehicle and the blue wire on the tailgate lock to the yellow wire on the vehicle. You may also want to double check the wires before you make the connections using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993.
If your vehicle does not have power locks, you will need to use the Switch Kit for Pop & Lock Power Tailgate Lock part # PAL9520 instead.
