I am getting a used 2014 Lance 2385 trailer, towed with a 2007 Toyota Tundra SR5 5.7L. Which weight distribution hitch would you recommend.

I like to recommend the Reese Steadi-Flex weight distribution systems because they're light and easy to setup and also very effective. I have first hand experience with a Steadi-Flex (See the video of the silver Chevy) and can attest to their quality.

When choosing a system you need to determine the trailer's loaded tongue weight and then add it to the amount of weight you'll have stored behind the rear axle of your 2007 Toyota Tundra. This is the total tongue weight a system needs to be rated for.

From my research your 2014 Lance M-2385 trailer has a maximum weight capacity of 6,700 pounds when fully loaded. If you're loading it to capacity the trailer's tongue weight should be between 670 to 1,000 pounds. When you factor in the weight stored behind the rear axle of your Tundra you'll likely need a system rated up to 1,200 pounds of tongue weight.

The Steadi-Flex # RP66560 is rated for 1,200 pounds of tongue weight. Use # RP66559, which is rated for 1,000 pounds, if you're not fully loading your trailer or you can use # RP66561, rated up to 1,400 pounds, if you're loading your truck behind it's rear axle with enough to take you over 1,200 pounds.

You'll also need a hitch ball with the Steadi-Flex. Use # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball or # A-90 for a 2 inch.
