Brake Controller Wiring Harness For 2017 Ram 1500 Compatible With Tekonsha Brake Controller
Question:
I purchased wire harness 3045 for my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and now I also need a brake controller for my new 2017 Ram 1500. Will that work or what do I need for my truck for the Tekonsha Primus IQ brake controller?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Your 2017 Ram 1500 does need a different brake controller wiring harness than your Jeep, with the correct one being the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Ram # 3024-P.
This will allow you to use your Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160.
