Will Adjusting Husky Weight Distribution Head Angle Make Hooking Up Spring Bars Easier
Question:
I have a Huskey trunnion bar WD set up with the lower weight rated trunnion bars. I have StrapTek straps and having an issue bending the right pin that hold on my trunnion bars I am up grading to the heavier trunnion bars but wanted to know if the ball angle is part of the issue. Tech set up with 5 washers, and put a lot of pressure on bars when pulled up, should I reduce to get bars just below frame? Thank you

The higher capacity spring bars will produce more leverage than the lower capacity ones you have now so it is possible that some adjustments will need to be made so that everything is set up properly.
Basically you will instal/set up the system with the new spring bars as if you were installing it for the first time. You do want the bars to ride a little below the frame so they will not make contact with the trailer.
