Recommended Weight Distribution System Drop Shank For Lifted 2017 Ram 2500

Question:

I have a 2017 Ram 2500 with a 4.5inch suspension lift. I am looking for a weight distribution shank to go with my blue ox weight distribution system for my travel trailer. I would rather not use a sleeve. What would be my best options? Thanks

For your Blue Ox weight distribution system, I recommend the Reese Titan Weight Dist Shank - Trunnion Only - 5-3/4" Drop, 8-1/4" Rise - 1,700 lbs TW # RP54977 for a shank that is 2-1/2 inches.

If you have a 2 inch receiver, you can use the Reese Weight Dist Shank - 13" Long - 6-3/4" Drop to 11-1/2" Rise - 1,400 lbs TW # RP3215.

No sleeve is needed for either shank to accommodate your lift kit and the drop needed. If you determine you want a sleeve at another time, you can use the Curt Reducer Sleeve 2-1/2" to 2" # C45405.
