Replacement Stromberg-Carlson Triple Step For 2007 Keystone Montana 3400RL

Question:

I have a 2007 Keystone Montana 3400RL Fifthwheel. I need replacement steps and the old ones are damaged so I cannot get really accurate measurements. I am pretty certain that I need a Stromberg-Carlson Triple Step. I am not sure if I need the 7 inch or 9 inch . Can you help?

For the Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs - Triple - 9" Drop/Rise - 24" Wide - 350 lbs # SMFP-3200L, the mounting base dimensions: 27-1/8" wide x 9-3/4" deep with the bolt hole pattern:
25-3/8" Wide x 5-1/2" deep (from first to second bolt hole)
25-3/8" Wide x 7" deep (from first to third bolt hole).

The Flexco Manual Pull-Out Steps for RVs - Triple - 8" Drop/Rise - 24" Wide - 350 lbs # SMFP-3100 is a wider base at 28-1/8 inches by 9-3/4 inches deep but the mounting holes are in the same location.

The difference between these two steps other than the 1 inch wider base is the 1 inch difference in height between each step. The 9 inch drop/rise will get you closer to the ground for your first step where the 8 inch will give you a little better clearance from the ground. Stromberg-Carlson doesn't have a 7 inch option we carry.
