Recommended Roof Rack for a 2013 Ford Flex

I just bought a 2013 Ford Flex. It has factory side rails. I just need crossbars so I can attach my already owned luggage rack. I am having trouble determining the correct size and product I need.

I have 2 different roof rack recommendations from Thule for you to checkout that will provide you with crossbars on your 2013 Ford Flex with raised side rails.

The first system has 53 inches of crossbar space and includes the WingBar Evo Crossbars, part # TH711400 for Silver or part # TH711420 for Black, and the Evo Raised Rail Feet # TH710401. This option is great because of the extra crossbar space.

If you would like a roof rack that looks a little more like an OEM product then I recommend going with the AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack, part # TH7504-TH7504 for Silver or part # TH7504B-TH7504B for Black. These crossbars are only 39-3/4 inches long but they look a little more sleek if that's what you are looking for in a roof rack.

The crossbars are 3-1/8 inches wide, 1-1/8 inches tall, and have a weight capacity of 165 lbs. You can use these measurements to ensure that your luggage rack will fit these crossbars. You will want to check your owner's manual for the roof weight capacity of your Flex as that is most likely the deciding factor.

To add security to either roof rack you can add the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400.
