Will Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0450 Work With Trailer That Has 237 Lbs Tongue Weight

I have a 2014 Palomino Palomini 132 FD. Dry weight 1813, hitch weight 237. Max cargo 1907. My question is will the Fastway 92-00-0450 serve to distribute the weight and sway control.

The best way to determine what system will work for you is to know what your total tongue weight is. The total tongue weight is the tongue weight of your fully-loaded-ready-to-tow trailer added to the weight of any cargo you place behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. You will then want to find a system where your total tongue weight falls near the middle of the tongue weight range for the system. Getting a system that is too small will be useless, but getting a system that is too big will result in a stiff, uncomfortable experience.

As long as any cargo in your Silverado behind the rear axle added to the tongue weight of your trailer does not exceed the 450 lb maximum, the Fastway e2 # FA92-00-0450 will work well for you. This system has built-in sway control that helps when traveling in high winds or passing large trucks on the highway.

The hitch ball is sold separately so for a 2 inch ball you can get part # 63845, and for a 2-5/16 inch ball you can get part # 63847.
