5th Wheel Trailer Hitch to Fit into Industry Standard Rails in a 2010 Ram 3500
Question:
I have a set of 5th wheel rails in my 2010 Ram 3500 that were in there when I bought the truck. I am now hunting for a hitch that will go with these rails. The spacing on center is 29 3/4. What kind of hitch would fit this? Thank you

It sounds like you have industry standard rails in your 2010 Ram 3500's bed. The spacing is 29 inches, center on center. See the diagram I attached.
If this is the case you can use a variety of fifth wheel hitches. If your truck has a 6 foot bed you'll want a sliding hitch for turning clearance unless your trailer has a Revolution or Sidewinder pin box.
If you need a sliding hitch my favorite to recommend is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide which has 18,000 pound # DM8550034 and a 21,000 pound # DM8550035 options. I like the Hijacker because it slides automatically so you don't have to get out of your truck to engage the slide feature when executing sharp turns.
If you have an 8 foot bed truck then you'll already have the clearance you need so you an use a fixed hitch. Or if your trailer has a Revolution or Sidewinder pin box then it'll provide the clearance and a fixed hitch will work for you. I recommend the B&W Patriot # BWRVK3255. It's an 18,000 pound hitch with a pivoting head and dual jaws.
If your rails are not industry standard then they're going to be specific to a certain hitch manufacturer. It won't be one we carry but my guesses would be PullRite or RBW.
