Recommended Air Spring Kit For A 2016 Ford F-250

Question:

Air Lift Load Lifter 7500XL part 57596 I have a diesel 2016 Ford F250 4x4 with factory Tow Prep 5th wheel kit. I understand that Air Lift has recently revised some of the Load Lifter kits to better fit the newer Super Duty trucks. Does the 57596 fit my truck and is there any drilling or other modifications required when installing? I am also interested in a air compressor kit such as the AL7200. If I understand correctly, the 7500XL kits can be inflated up to 150psi. Is the AL74000 capable of reaching and withstanding not leaking air pressures up to 150psi? If not, what kit would you recommend? Also do you offer any Air Bags and Compressor Combo Kits? Are there any promotional sales available? Thank You,

I have several options for you but none of which include both the air bag kit and the air compressor. Therefore, you will need to purchase an air bag kit specifically designed to fit your 2016 Ford F-250 in addition to an air compressor kit.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57596 is a confirmed fit for you 2016 Ford F-250 with factory tow package. It is a complete bolt-on kit unless you decide to run the air lines to the rear of the vehicle instead of using a compressor kit and if this is the case, you will need to drill two 5/16" holes to do so. The LoadLifter 7500 XL air bags that are included in the kit have a max psi rating of 5-100 psi.

The Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs is a good kit, however, I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs part # F2703 for a few reasons. The first of which is in the construction of their air bags. AirLift uses a 2-ply rubber to construct the bags whereas, Firestone uses a 4-ply rubber. Therefore, the Firestone bags are much stronger and resistant to blowouts in comparison to the AirLift air bags. The other reason for recommending the Firestone kit is that this package is capable of operating up to 150 psi whereas, the AirLift kit maxes out at 100 psi.

The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System for Air Helper Springs part # AL74000 is also a great option to control your air bags, however, this kit does not include an air tank. Unless you want to wait several seconds in order for your air bags to fill, I recommend using the Air Command II Compressor System w F3 Wireless Remote, Xtreme Duty Compressor, Tank, Hose part # F2592 as this is our top of the line compressor kits with included items such as an air tank, tire inflation valve, wireless remote, and digital gauges.

I have attached a review an installation video on each of my recommendations for you.
