Curt A20 Slider Compatibility With Adapter For Factory Rails On 2017 GMC Sierra 3500
Question:
I have a 2017 gmc denali 3500 with a 16k Reese sliding fifth wheel hitch. 6.5 inch box. It has an adapter attached to the Reese hitch using the factory puck system. Interested in the 20k curt hitch you sell. Will it work with my adapter and puck system or do I need rails?

The Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # C16541 is compatible with any of the adapters to standard rails that will work with your current Reese 16K slider and your GMC factory rail system.
I am interested in knowing which adapter you have as the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter for Standard 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs # RP30156 is NOT a confirmed fit for your truck. It will fit the hitch, but won't fit the factory puck system.
An adapter like the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16023 or the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21,000 lbs # DM6194 are the only confirmed fit adapters we carry at this time.
