How To Install The ZCI Circuit Protected with 4 Pole Harness On A 2004 Acura TSX
Question:
2004 Acura TSX trailer wiring harness, do you have one that has connectors and just plugs in-line kinda like the TL video you have online? Or do I have to buy a kit that I have to do actual wiring? IN other words what kit do you reccomend? thx P

I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness with Installation Kit # 119250KIT as this will include everything needed to install the kit on your vehicle.
We haven't had a chance to make an installation video of this wiring harness on your 2004 Acura TSX yet, but you will first want to start by removing any trim and carpet pieces in the rear of the trunk. You can then remove the taillight access panel which will expose the taillights wiring harness. Once the harness is exposed, you will then need to remove the wire loom and have a friend sit in the vehicle and perform the brake, left and right turn signal, in addition to the vehicle's reverse lights. You will want to test each wire using a circuit tester like # PTW2992 until you have found the one that corresponds to the function you need. Once the wire's function has been determined, mark each wire with a piece of tape for future reference, you will then need to do that same thing on the other side.
Using the supplied wire connectors, attach the yellow wire from the harness to the left turn/brake signal on the vehicle, the green wire to the right turn/brake signal, the brown wire to the tail lights, and the red wire to the stop light. You will then need to find a spot to ground the box which will need to be a clean metal surface on the vehicle's frame. Once the ground wire is ran, you will need to route the 12+ power wire to the battery using the supplied 10 amp fuse.
If you still do not feel comfortable performing this process, any local shop should be able to do this for you for a very minimal fee.
