For a trunk mount bike rack that is compatible with your 2016 Ford Edge Titanium I recommend going with the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack # Y02634.

The FullBack can carry up to 2 bikes at 35 lbs each. It also features folding arms, anti-sway straps, bike and rack locks, and don't forget the Yakima signature bottle opener. The bike and rack locks are integrated to help deter theft for when you need to make pits stops or you have stepped away for a few minutes. This is one of the better trunk mount bike rack options out there and will work well for you. Keep in mind that when using a trunk mounted bike rack you will lose the ability to access your rear cargo area while the bike rack is installed.
