Any problem with adding roof bars across factory installed side rails on a 2017 ford escape, for use of a rooftop carrier, where the vehicle also has the panoramic vista window?

This rack is designed to fit the raised side rails of your 2017 Ford Escape and is also compatible with the panoramic glass roof you have. Thule just states to keep the roof closed at all times.
