What Are The Best Towing Products For A 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
I have another question. I'm having a difficult time finding an adapter for my trailer plug. I've been to the dealer and numerous other auto places and no one has ever seen the plug that's on my jeep. Do you know what this plug is?

The best hitch receiver for your 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13182 as this hitch receiver has the highest tongue weight capacity of all other hitch receivers available for your vehicle. This trailer hitch is custom fit to your vehicle with no drilling required for installation. I also have an installation video of this hitch installed on a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I have attached for you.
You will also need a few other components before you can begin towing. This being a ball mount, hitch ball, and wiring harness. In order to select the correct ball mount, you will need to do a bit of measuring. You can see the attached article that will show you the proper way to do so. For a wiring harness, I recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness part # C55774 as this is a plug and play option with both 4 and 7-way connections. You will also need to take your vehicle to the Jeep dealer in order to activate your factory tow package.
I have an installation video of this wiring harness installed a on similar 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I have also attached for you.
