Replacement 4-Way Connector For Wishbone Trailers

Question:

my utility trailers 4 pole connector needs replaced. The trailer has 5 wires which are brown/green, brown/yellow, two different brown wires and finally the white ground wire. Im pretty sure the green and yellow are turn signals and one brown is the break and one brown is the tail light. I can not find a 4 pole connector that accepts 5 wires. Im attaching of photo of the original 4 pole connector. Can you please help?

Your utility trailer has a wishbone wiring harness therefore, in order to replace the connector you will need the Quick Fix (TM) 4 Pole Flat Trailer End part # HMC20031. There is an extra running light wire on the wishbone harness that runs down each side of the trailer eliminating the need for a jumper wire.

The Quick-Fix connector is designed to replace your existing 4-way without the need to hardwire or splice any wires. To install, you will need to sever the wires just before your existing connector with an equal amount of length on each end. You will then need to place the corresponding wires into their correct location on the new Quick-Fix. The connector will have two alphabetic symbols next to each attachment point. For example, (gd) is for the ground which is typically the white wire, (TM) is for tail/marker lights which is typically the brown wire, (LT) is for the left turn signal and brake lights which is the yellow wire, and (RT) is for the right turn signal and brake lights which is typically the green wire. Since you have a wishbone trailer wiring harness, you will need to connect both of the brown wires in the same location on the connector in the (TM) slot.
