Brake Signal Wire for Installing Brake Controller in 1998 Dodge Ram
Question:
hooking up a 90160, the brake output from the switch is a white and tan wire. that wire powers when brake applied and grounds when it is not applied. Is there a different wire to provide input to the controller or do i use that one?

As long as the circuit has 12 volts when the brakes are applied the wire you found be the correct one to use to install the Tekonsha part # TK90160 for the red wire.
