Titan Brake Controller Adapter for Brake EHB with 2015 Ford Expedition
Question:
Hello, I have a 2015 Ford Expedition towing a trailer with the Brakerite EHB actuator, when the trailer is connected initially the Ford brake controller says trailer not connected, I have to go through the setup menus sometimes several times whilst making sure the brake pedal is not pressed and the vehicle must be in park before eventually after ing electric over hydraulic brakes in the setup menu the brake controller says trailer connected. If I set off without this process the trailer brakes do work via the pedal however the manual brake control will not work and I cannot change the gain. I have to go through this process every time I turn the engine of and back on. I dont have access to a trailer with electric brakes to test and I do not want to use an after market brake controller. I have previously tested this setup on a previous TV using a P3 brake controller which recognized the trailer so Im sure the trailer wiring is good. Although not necessary would part T4846000 resolve this issue? Do you have any other suggestions that may help please?

What you described is normal for the Ford controller and is a bit frustrating having to manually put the controller in hydraulic mode every time you turn it on. The part # T4845900 would be a great solution to relieve that issue.
With this adapter the controller will think that it's connecting to an electric drum brake trailer so you wouldn't need to run through all of the menus like you mentioned.
